Music creates a sound track to life, and this festive season music lovers with access to DStv can turn up the volume on their holiday experience with three new holiday channels on DMX Music, found on the Audio Bouquet. The new additions to DMX’s uninterrupted music channels include a blend of adult contemporary and pop Christmas music, and a channel with the ultimate collection of timeless Christmas tracks. DMX is also going instrumental with smooth jazz, contemporary instrumental and new age renditions of timeless festive hits with no intrusive vocals to disturb.

The three new DMX channels on DStv, set to run from 15 November – 26 December, are Adult Contemporary Holiday (channel 25) which is a blend of contemporary and pop holiday music featuring U2, Gloria Estefan and Mariah Carey. Then there’s Holiday Favourites (channel 34) with 100% holiday music comprising the ultimate collection of timeless Holiday tunes. Well known and loved across many generations, these are performances by music’s greatest stars such as Elton John, Bing Crosby and Johnny Mathis. The third festive channel features no intrusive vocals and is an all-instrumental musical grove. Contemporary instrumental and New Age music are represented with renditions of well-known holiday standards and fresh, seasonal originals. Called Instrumental Holiday (channel 40) this includes artists such as Russ Freeman, Dave Brubeck, Chet Baker and David Benoit.
